Upon my recent weekend trip to Majda's place in Mostar, I was instantly captivated by the warm Bosnian hospitality that enveloped me. The cozy atmosphere, complete with air-conditioned rooms and a lovely common area, made it an inviting escape after long hours exploring. We were fortunate to have a fantastic breakfast featuring Majda's homemade delights; I could have gorged myself on those savory dishes! The location is superb, only 900 meters from the iconic Old Bridge and a mere 10-minute stroll into the charming old town, which was a treat for a marine biologist like myself who thrives on discovering natural beauty and history. Delightful was the outdoor, shared seating area, perfect for enjoying a glass of local wine with friends as we shared stories of our adventures. I can't recommend Majda's enough, whether you're a solo traveler or like to explore with close companions-it's an experience that welcomes everyone. From the top-notch tours offered by Bata to the comfort of home-cooked meals, I left with a newfound appreciation for the depth of Bosnia's culture and community spirit.
